A few weeks before the CMCO took place (again), we booked ourselves a weekend staycation at Kloe Hotel in Kuala Lumpur. This time our group consisted of our medium-sized family. This trip took place in the month of September and it was also the first staycation since the MCO was lifted.
Checking in at Kloe Hotel
Kloe Hotel is a boutique establishment located close to Bukit Bintang street. When I say close, it's actually within 15-20 minutes of walking distance to Pavilion Mall. While waiting for our keys at the reception, he shared with us how the hotel's opening was paused during the MCO. They then took this time to fix it up and officially opened up the doors to guests once the MCO was over.
They are indeed one of the lucky hotels to have made it through the pandemic.
Another interesting fact to note is that the owners of Kloe Hotel are also the ones behind the refurbished light-filled backpacker's hostel called BackHome and LOKL Coffee, a brunch place for travelers within neighbourhood.
A boutique hotel for Creative Nomads
Kloe Hotel accommodates guests who want that home-away-from-home feeling while staying in the bustling and fast-paced Kuala Lumpur city. They took it up a notch by providing unique lofts catered to creative and artistic individuals. These artist lofts comprise of 5 concepts - draw, taste, grow, listen, and read, for those who crave quietness and inspiration.
The Instagrammable spaces in Kloe Hotel are cozy and come with an industrial-themed living room as well as an urban oasis with a courtyard swimming pool. Guests can linger around these spaces or catch up with friends at the Lucky caf which serves cakes, light menu options, and coffee.
